This history is complete, and this date is from the history of those I composed for the late Sayyid Muhammad Al-Mahrouqi when we established the Zawiya opposite the Zawiya of Sheikh Al-Afifi in the Small Quarter, and the well that we established in Birkat Al-Rutli in Al-Mahrousa. The first, see the Zawiya, its completion was excellent. And the well was dug with desire, and it began with the agreement of the patron, and this speaker described it with understanding and eloquence. And it was illuminated by the leadership, dated with the light of Sayyid Al-Mahrouqi. And the second, contemplate when the hand of glory and splendor built it, you see a well that has risen with kindness and beauty. And it was built by a noble descendant of a messenger, whose glory is at the peak of the heavens. Muhammad Al-Mahrouqi established it, hoping for unending reward. And when it was completed, happiness said for the seeker: "A brother's ailment is healed, and it is good, and it is desired." The late Yusuf Khoja, the owner of the seal, passed away in the month of Safar in the year. And he died a martyr, and his body was buried, and the markets were disrupted after he was feared to extend his influence. Glory be to God, the Exalter, the Humbler. Our Sheikh, the scholar Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Riyaj, mourned him with verses written on his grave, which are these: "To God belongs permanence, and whether it is a dove or a hawk, it is the same."
