This safa is a bird of the Upper Nile, because in the lands of their Upper Nile there are birds with beautiful voices. They call one and the plural "taiyqa," a great entity with a specific king. It is known among the Ful as the scribe, and among the Egyptians as the sutri, and among the Turks as the sutri. But the Mوجية are different from what is mentioned, because he is the one who kills whomever the Sultan orders killed. The description of the Mوجية is that he wears on his head a band with a circular piece of iron in the middle. In the aforementioned band, there is also a piece of iron like a sword, hanging by a thread, sometimes on the middle part of the circular piece, so that when he shakes his head, the aforementioned middle part is struck and a ringing sound is heard from it. From it, in the band, is a feather or two ostrich feathers. And its picture is like this: And on the roads, there are beads and hanging beads.
