Jamila and its walls surrounded it, and made the walls a source of satisfaction, and made them well-guarded. Opposite the Sultan's house, one of them would place the cannon and the other the mortar. The location of this house was higher than the Sultan's fighting positions, so that the Sultan could be seen when he entered and when he exited. So he conceived the idea of killing the Sultan and taking over the country by waiting for him as he entered or exited and surrounding him with a cannon to destroy him. But he feared that if the Sultan was killed, the people of the kingdom and the leaders of the state would not obey him. So he devised a plan and met with the faqih Al-Tayyib, son of Mustafa. This faqih was the minister of Sultan Turab and his son-in-law. Sultan Turab was married to his sister and had a son from her. When Zwana Kashu met him, he went and sounded him out after promising him secrecy, and told him that he had heard that his sister's son was the Sultan's son, and that he wanted him to join him in killing this man and his sister's son, and that the kingdom would be divided between them. The faqih Al-Tayyib agreed to this. Then they said that this matter was difficult for them unless some people who had armies were brought in. So Zwana said, "That is up to you, and you know best." So the faqih Al-Tayyib began to deceive people and bring them to the Kashi. The Kashi gave them money and made them swear to be with him until he brought me and ordered several men.
