**Al-Hamadab** **Land, Life, and People** This book: * Deals with the lives of the inhabitants of the Al-Hamadab region in the Northern State, the first region affected by the construction of the Merowe Dam, their displaced people, their families, their livelihoods, their lifestyles, and the nature of their existence in this region. * This study aimed to reveal the natural role of the lives of the inhabitants in the Al-Hamadab region and to observe the changes that have occurred in these lives, and the impact of these changes on the reality of the human being and his society, for this group that belongs to this country, lives, and shapes a part of its present and future. * This study aimed to collect the field history of the Al-Hamadab region with all its components, especially since this society – the subject of this study – will witness a transformation in its life after this group is relocated to a city where they will meet to begin a new life in a new environment, through which their world will completely change to a modern life dominated by the city. * Documenting the life and history of the Al-Hamadab region is a pioneering and unique experience in documentation literature, which the Sudanese cultural library benefits from in this type of documentation. * It is presented by the Merowe Dam Implementation Unit for the affected Sudanese, to be the beginning of a series of its publications for documenting the regions affected by the establishment of the largest development project in Sudan.
