Al-Khalaf Al-Alfiyyah and others. He attended the council of the scholar Ahmad bin Abi for some time after his release from prison and took over the imamate of the Grand Mosque in Sha'ban of the eighth year after Al-Alf, until his death, may God have mercy on him. He deputized for the preacher in the mosque from the sixteenth of the month after Al-Alf. He was born, may God have mercy on him, in the third and fortieth of the tenth, may God have mercy on him. And in Dhu al-Qi'dah al-Haram of this year, our brother, the scholar Saeed al-Ma'ruf bi-Sittum, son of our father's friend and confidant, Al-Malatuf Al-Hajji, may God have mercy on him, passed away. He was prayed for by God's grace in the city of Hani and buried in the cemetery of Al-Nan. And in Al-Haram Al-Haram, on the twenty-sixth of Al-Alf, the virtuous, ascetic Sheikh Mad bin Al-Mukhtar, Sheikh Al-Maddahin, passed away. I accompanied him from childhood until his death and benefited greatly from him, may God have mercy on him. He was prayed for by God's grace and was twenty-four years old. And on the day he passed away, Khadijah bint Al-Haj Ahmad bin Omar bin Mad passed away, may God have mercy on her, at the age of ninety-seven years. She was in her teens. May God have mercy on them and forgive them, Amen. And on the night of Thursday, after the evening prayer, the dawn prayer from the mosque. My father, Abdullah bin Imran bin Ami Al-Sa'idi, passed away. And our virtuous, ascetic Sheikh, the saint of God, the trustworthy scholar Ibn Ahmad, brother of the scholar Abdul Rahman bin Al-Haj, prayed over him, by his will. He was buried at that time next to his father in the cemetery of the Grand Mosque. And the aforementioned Sheikh was the one who, by will, lowered him into the grave. The noble, virtuous, saintly Sheikh, our scholar Muhammad bin Al-Waqri, attended his washing. And a large group of elders, scholars, jurists, righteous people, the elite, and the common people attended his funeral prayer and burial. And no one in the country was absent except those who were prevented by an excuse or those who were indifferent to attending places of good. May God forgive him and have mercy on him with His grace and generosity. He passed away, and God knows best, at the age of seventy. Al-Haram: 6.
