And Al-Faqih Al-Qadi Muhammad bin Al-Faqih Al-Imam Muhammad bin Abd Allah Karrar was appointed as judge. And in the early days of Safar of this year, Al-Sha' Abd Al-Rahman passed away and was buried in the cemeteries of Al-Jami' Al-Kabir. He remained in authority for ten months. Then Al-Basha Said bin Ali Al-Hamudi was appointed at this date, so he dismissed Akia on Sinb and remained in it for five months and some days. Akia Muhammad returned and resided in his place. In his days, a letter came from the brothers of Akia, Muhammad bin Akia Dawoud, to Tishket, fearing that his aforementioned brother would kill him. So he asked Al-Basha Said to support him with an army from the Sultanate and to appoint him as Akia of Agnatkan, as advice, but he did not accept and became angry with him, claiming that his brother had told him that no one else was corrupting his reputation among the treasury officials except him. When Akia Muhammad bin Sakan heard this, he helped him.
