I set out from Khartoum on Monday the third of the month, by boat only. I crossed the river that day and spent the night at the house of Al-Athaa. Then I went to the house of Al-Khareet, and he welcomed me. I entered the house and sat down. He asked me how I was. I replied that I was well. He said, "Praise be to God." Then he said, "I have a request for you." I said, "What is it?" He said, "I want you to go to the house of Al-Fawtan and his brother, and tell them that I am coming to them." I said, "I will do that." Then I went to the house of Al-Fawtan and his brother, and I told them that Al-Khareet was coming to them. They said, "We will be waiting for him." Then I returned to my house.

On Saturday, I arrived at the town of Shali and rested there for a while, then I continued my journey.

On the night of the eighth, I arrived at the town of Al-Asha. On the afternoon of the eighth, I arrived at the town of Al-Asha and stayed there on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

On Friday the fourteenth of the said month, I set out from my house to Hani by boat. In the afternoon, I entered the house of Muhammad Allah and Hassan, and found all my family well and in good health, praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.

The remaining days of the month were spent in the house.

Muhammad Fatima and his army went out to fight. They killed three of the enemy.
