Then Shawwal began on Thursday, and on Wednesday the fourteenth of it, I went to Bad Qadqad for an hour and a half. The affairs of the army were pressing, so I reached its end. I stayed there for a short while, then returned and passed by the land of Madina, which is on the shore of the sea. It has villages between it and the sea. I was before that.
