In the village of Sharba, we stayed there and on Thursday, the day of Eid al-Adha, we went to the land of Dhal and Zat. We stayed for a short while until we reached Furan and we were tired. The road was difficult, and we took a different path. It was magic. To the land of Al-Qajak Boursala, then to Jabal Al-Masr. We stayed there on Friday and left on Saturday morning. At noon, we passed by the land of Fadak, then by the land of Wi, then by Balk Hasla. At noon, we reached Balk Qam and prayed Dhuhr and Asr. I stayed at the house of Al-Fasi and decided to spend the night there. We stayed at the house of Fadak and left on Saturday morning. We reached the pasture of Al-Kan Damwa and stayed there for a short while, then crossed the river to Shibl and reached it on Saturday evening, the fifth of Ramadan, with my family in good health, praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. Then Shawwal began on Thursday, and on Wednesday the fourteenth of it, I went to Bad Qadqad for an hour and a half. The affairs of the army were pressing, so I reached its end. I stayed there for a short while, then returned and passed by the land of Madina, which is on the shore of the sea. It has villages between it and the sea. I was before that. And the year is the year two hundred and forty-two and one thousand, at noon. A son was born to us from my wife Halima, daughter of Al-Faqih Ani Bakr Sa'antar. I named him Al-Tayyib, may God make him blessed and auspicious. Then the infidels of Nuba rose against Ki and Qadqad Ki, and they feared for them until they decided to fight them. Then God Almighty extinguished the fire of that sedition with His strength and power. And we were able to return to Madina. On the twenty-third of it, after Dhuhr prayer, I went out with my family. On Monday, from Shibl, by the grace of God Almighty and His help, and after sunset, we crossed the sea of Bad Kan.
