I stayed there for four days, improving my condition, and then I set out. I traveled to Hajj al-Bar. On the night of Tuesday, the first of the forbidden month of Safar, the year 1242 AH, began. I performed the noon prayer on Wednesday. I visited my mother, Zainab, in Balk, and she was buried there. May God have mercy on her and gather us with her in the highest Paradise, without reckoning or punishment, by His grace and generosity. On Sunday, the 18th, we were blessed with safety and well-being, praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. On the morning of Tuesday, the 22nd of the month, I went to Hajj al-Bar to seek a boat. I found one at noon. On the morning of the following Tuesday, I set out from Hajj, returning to Sinnah, also by land. I arrived at noon. Safar began on Wednesday. On Saturday, the 4th of the month, our brother Muhammad bin Sheikh al-Khateer, may God have mercy on him, passed away. On the night of Tuesday, the 9th of the month, I went to Hajj al-Bahr with the family. We entered it on the night of Wednesday, the 10th of the month, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. I was in Sinnah before going to Ain al-Maa. The news was that those infidels had attacked Shibl, and its people fled en masse. They destroyed it stone by stone, except for the mosque and the house I lived in. Praise be to God who saved us from the oppressive people. After that, they did the same to Fudaki and others.

I returned to Kutt and Aghil. After Al-Agha Muhammad bin Hajj Uthman returned from the raid, he went to Hajj. The commander Abdullah bin Al-Basha Ahmad bin Yusuf was relieved of his command.
