So they wrote to him about it, and he wrote to them that he had approved that sanctuary and accepted it on the condition that his judge, his mother, and his brother come to him and send him to inform him of this. They sent their messenger, and on the eve of Sunday, the eighth of Jumada al-Ula, the messenger returned from him and informed him that the judge had come, but his mother and brother had not. On Sunday, the second of Jumada al-Ula, When the judge arrived, he met with the judge of Hanni in the leader's house with the Kahiya, writing to the Pasha about what had been agreed upon. On Monday, the seventh of Jumada al-Akhirah, the judge of Masina left Hanni for Timbuktu with two witnesses from the judge of Hanni. The Pasha received them, accepted the reconciliation, and approved it. He returned. On the twentieth day of Sha'ban, he reached Hanni. On the twenty-eighth of the same month, one of the people of the treasury returned to Masina. The reconciliation was completed. On the night of Tuesday, the last night of Shawwal, Sharif Yusuf bin Ali bin Al-Muzawwar died in Hanni, may God have mercy on him and benefit us by him in both worlds, Amen. On the night of Sunday, the tenth of Dhu al-Hijjah, the sacred month, the year 1259 AH. Our brother, Aqf Al-Amin, died in the house of his father and was buried in Al-Dar. May God have mercy on him. And on Saturday, the eighth of the sacred month, Al-Fatih, in the year sixty-six.
