Al-Sharif Al-Husayni prayed the Dhuhr prayer in Al-Jami' Al-Kabir and was buried in his place, may God have mercy on him. His blessings remained in the land. In its latter part, Sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-Kandari bin Uthman al-Tarari, Sultan of Maghrib, passed away in his residence at Ras al-Ma'. He was succeeded by his grandson Abu Bakr bin Wuramsht. On the evening of Tuesday, between Maghrib and Isha, the ninth of the sacred month, in the year fifty-seven and a thousand, Banna Ahmad passed away. He was prayed over in the morning near the mosque of Muhammad ibn Uthman and buried there, may God have mercy on him. And He took care of him by His grace. Upon returning from his burial, the army at that time said, "Al-Baghah Jid bin Abd al-Rahman al-Hayuni was unfortunate and unlucky, unfit for leadership, with no lineage or standing. He delegated authority to the ministers, having no say or action. Thus, he fell under their authority, and their power grew daily. He will be remembered for whoever succeeded him. Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we return." When he saw that his water was not enough and his camels were not returning with provisions, he thought of himself as a small group of the army in the desert at a time when people thought he did not intend to go. He was threatened by fire. He considered them and in the morning, he planned their destruction and ruin. He left Takt after the Dhuhr prayer on Saturday, the fourth of Jumada al-Ula in that mentioned year, heading towards Karem. He crossed the sea on Monday near the town of Bu. On Wednesday, the eighth of the mentioned month, we were carried away from there without any escort from the Darab except for some of the Awadash he had seized from the people.
