In the month of Dhu al-Qadah, the blessed, ascetic, noble Sayyid Akraz bin al-Sharif Ahmad Akraz died, may God have mercy on him and benefit us by him in both worlds, Amen. In the beginning of Sha'ban, our brother Sulaiman, known as Sin Jino bin Qasim Tinfan al-Tawwaq, died in the city of Hani and was buried in the Great Cemetery, may God have mercy on him and be pleased with him by His grace. On the night of Thursday, the fifth of Ramadan, our brother and our beneficial companion Kalma Ahad Asar bin Hayk Ahmad Nay died in the city of Kunti. When he was dying, he sent for his family in Bayna, and I was with him at that time. He said, "I read the book 'Al-Shifa' and I did not find in it anything except that." A messenger arrived after midnight to attend to him until God Almighty took his soul. He was buried and mourned by the people of Kunti.
