'Abban and Luq, his young son, arrived at sunset. After they had eaten, Masud, who was in charge of the mosque, began to speak to the Pasha, Ahmad bin Hadi. He prayed for them and said to him, "Every hour you are concerned about burying the dead in this mosque, and you do not hear me. The sin of that is upon your necks. The dead are pure and clean and do not enter the mosque." Then he prayed for them and they were buried in one grave. On the night of the fourteenth of Rabi' al-Thani, Sharifah Khadijah bint Omar died. I prayed for her, and she was buried in the cemetery of the Great Mosque. On the night of the fourth of Dhu al-Qi'dah, between noon and afternoon, Walidat Fatima bint al-Hasan al-Hawsiyyah died. I prayed for her after the Maghrib prayer at the Great Mosque, and she was buried next to our father, may God have mercy on them both and forgive them and have mercy on them, and illuminate their graves and honor their resting place and admit them to the highest paradise without reckoning or punishment. May our Prophet and Master Muhammad, peace be upon him, intercede for us. On Thursday night, at sunset, the seventh of Dhu al-Hijjah, in the year one thousand two hundred and sixty-three, Agha Hafsa Ba' bint Abdullah bin Imran died. I prayed for her after the Isha prayer, and she was buried next to her father, may God have mercy on her and have mercy on her. Amen.
