Then 'Ali, the Aghā, Muḥyī, son of 'Abd al-Ghanī al-Gharṇātī, passed away. In the seventh year of his rule, 'Abd al-Karīm bin al-'Ubayd, mentioned above, passed away, and then al-Bāshā dismissed him. Among the first judges who took charge in Tishket was the Qāḍī Muḥammad bin Aḥmad bin al-Qāḍī 'Abd al-Raḥmān, whom Muḥammad bin 'Alī bin Zurqūn appointed. He was the son of Ḥamzayn for a year and passed away at the age of 60. May God have mercy on him. Then the Qāḍī Muḥammad bin Aḥmad bin Muḥammad bin Aḥmad, one of the judges, was appointed to Ṣaḥīd Awlād al-Akkā. He ruled for four years and then his brother, the Qāḍī Sayyid bin Aḥmad bin Muḥammad, was appointed by al-Bāshā Muḥammad bin 'Alī. He ruled for three years, and then the Qāḍī 'Abd bin 'Abd al-Karīm al-Karrāwī was appointed by the commander Aḥmad bin 'Abdūn al-Nāṭī. He ruled for ten years and then the Qāḍī 'Abd al-Raḥmān bin al-Qāḍī Aḥmad bin 'Alī was appointed by al-Bāshā Aḥmad bin al-Amīn. He ruled for seventy-three years, and he is the one who rules today. As for the first judges who took charge in Ḥanī, they were the Qāḍī Aḥmad al-Falālī, the Qāḍī Muḥammad, the Qāḍī al-'Adl Aḥmad Rūrī, and the Qāḍī Sā' al-Karīm.
