In the year 100, the Amir Khalid bin al-Amir 'Awn Shah al-Fart, and this year Allah knows best, and the son of the Amir, Iskya al-Hajj Ahmad bin al-Dhalik Ramnan, and his son, arrived. They requested from their father, al-Ghazal, to go to al-Hal, and he agreed. They went to 'Akk Kary Kary. The Mahdi 'Adun said to him, "What did you do?" He replied, "O you, the arrogant slave, do not be afraid of anyone." He said to him, "You made a mistake in your speech. Say to me, 'O you, the evil slave.'" And so it was, and he promised what he had promised. Then al-Ghundur al-Maruq, the renowned, arrived. And when he was from the people of this village, he went up to the army from above it. So Mudh bin Mur hid for him, and he was on his horse, ascending to him little by little at the edge of the village until he was close to him. He shot him with a rifle, and he fell to the ground and died. From then on, they became more fearful of the horses of the people of Sati. Then Firn Ahmad bin Takin returned without a fight. In the year eighty-nine hundred and nine hundred, al-Aman Muhammad bin Abi Bakr Kaddad al-Fulani died on the night of Sunday, the twenty-eighth of al-Muharram. And Ahmad bin al-Imam Siddiq took over the imamate of the mosque on Wednesday, the seventh of Safar. In this year, the grandfather of the Sultan, Ahmad bin 'Aisha, lived for fifty years, and after him, Muhammad and 'Awn.
