He went out from the land of Kāl with his son Mahīb, and presented himself to Kāl Fāk. Isk al-Hājj honored him and gave him a gift. He returned to Tandarm, counted among the army of Kārn, with his aforementioned son, honored. Then Isk al-Hājj mentioned to Fandannak Būb Mīm that his head would never enter the door. So he sent for Bāghin Fārī, ordering him to approach with tact and cleverness until he could seize him and bring him without him noticing. He did so, seized him, and brought him. When he stood before him, bound in chains, he said to him, "O son of Mary, you are the one whose head is said never to enter the door." He said, "By God Almighty, I have not spoken, except for the enemies who only desire death. They are the ones who say this about me. Where shall I go? My mother is dead, and my father is delayed." He then said, "I want to return you to your family." He was given a choice and prayed for him. He prayed extensively and said, "If you give me a choice, I do not want it." He asked, "What do you want?" He replied, "To be with you at night, to serve you, and to be your companion." This greatly pleased him, and he gave him many gifts and a house, and bestowed upon him all the good he desired. He remained in Kāl as a honored guest.
