Appendix No. (1) How to perform the preliminaries First, wash the clothes of Friday on Wednesday by order of your Sheikh and pray two rak'ahs. The first with Al-Fatiha and Al-Kafirun, and the second with Al-Fatiha and Surah Al-Nasr. Then, say the Taslim and recite the pledge and its manner: "O Allah, I repent to You and am pleased with our Sheikh, Sayyidi Muhammad Uthman, in this world and the hereafter. O Allah, keep me firm in his companionship and his path in this world and the hereafter, by the right of our master Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Adnan, and by the right of Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim."

Then recite Al-Fatiha silently, then begin the Tahleel, numbering seventy thousand, with Wudu. In that sitting, use it about one hundred times, then complete the rest of the number standing or sitting, with Wudu. Then, after finishing the Tahleel, wash yourself again as previously mentioned.

And use Al-Ikhlas one hundred thousand times without Wudu, then wash yourself again as previously mentioned on Wednesday after Fajr.

And use Bismillah twelve thousand times in one sitting with complete purity. Then, after completing the preliminaries, go to your Sheikh, and he will teach you the Dhikr.
