The products of the land are here more varied and abundant than in the valley of Dufile. Millet, potatoes, and beans are abundant, and tobacco is much cultivated, and it is of a better quality than that grown in the Soudan. The oxen are double the size of tliose of Kiri and Lado, and there is an extraordinary number of goats.
