Allah the Almighty, so be it. May the words not encompass it, even if it pertains to His attributes. Its existence is related to Him. And according to the opinion of Abu Talib and those who agreed with him, they are related to it before its existence, due to its non-existence. So the words do not encompass it. And He, the Almighty, is pleased with this opinion. And Allah knows best. O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the number of what the rememberers have mentioned. A group narrated from Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib that he said: I saw Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, in a dream. I said to him: What did Allah do with you? He said: He has mercy on me and forgives me. And I was presented to Paradise like a bride is presented, and adorned. I said to him: Did you reach this status? He said: Yes, by your saying in the book Al-Risala. And may Allah bless Muhammad, the number of what the rememberers have mentioned, and what the heedless have forgotten. He said: Then I woke up and looked at Al-Risala and found it. Al-Hujjah al-Islam Al-Ghazali, may Allah have mercy on him, narrated from Abu Al-Hasan Al-Shafi'i that he said: I saw the Prophet, peace be upon him, in a dream. I said: O Messenger of Allah, how was Al-Shafi'i rewarded for his saying in the book Al-Risala: "May Allah bless Muhammad, the number of what the rememberers have mentioned, and what the heedless have forgotten"? He said: He was rewarded for not stopping the tongue from mentioning him, and saying: "May Allah bless Muhammad, the number of what the rememberers have mentioned, and what the heedless have forgotten." This is also narrated by the author of Al-Mawahib. And his saying: "the number of what the rememberers have mentioned" means the number of verbal mentions, meaning that the noble one is mentioned by the tongue, or that he is blessed, or something else. And it is possible that his mention is a mention of the heart. And the first is more likely. And his saying: "what the heedless have forgotten" means the number of times they were heedless of mentioning him in the places where he should be mentioned, or the number of times they were obligated to mention him and forgot. And Allah knows best. And his saying: "the number of drops of rain" - it is possible that it is a مصدر (masdar) added to the doer, and it is possible that it is a noun of genus, its singular is "قطرة" (qatrah) meaning a drop of rain. And his saying: "the number of what your hearing encompasses." O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the number of what your hearing encompasses. And his saying: "the number of what your sight encompasses." O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the number of what your sight encompasses. And his saying: "the number of what the rememberers have mentioned." O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. And his saying: "the number of what the heedless have forgotten." O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. And his saying: "the number of drops of rain." O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad.
