This is about the prayer with the Basmala and its effects and benefits. It is a means of enlightenment and raising the spirit, and it suffices for the seeker on the path and takes its place.

And among what is beneficial from it is the prayer upon the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and his family, and his companions. Therefore, perseverance in remembrance and constancy in sending blessings upon him, his family, and his companions is a sign of guidance, and the opposite of that is deviation and the acquisition of ignoble qualities that stir the passions and heat the temperaments.

And sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, dispels bad temperaments and strengthens souls, for it is like water.

And it suffices in this regard, as mentioned by Ibn Farhun al-Qurtubi.

And among the ten virtues of sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, is that the first is the prayer of the King of Kings, the second is the prayer of the righteous, the third is following the example of the Prophet, peace be upon him, the fourth is the intercession of the Prophet, peace be upon him, the fifth is the salvation of the hypocrites and disbelievers, the sixth is assistance in fulfilling needs and desires, the seventh is the illumination of the outward and inward, the eighth is the attainment of the abode of bliss, the ninth is entering the abode of reward, and the tenth is the peace of the Forgiving Merciful. He elaborated on them and their proofs in the book "Gardens of Lights," sending blessings and peace upon the Prophet, peace be upon him.

The fifth garden is about the verses that are obtained by sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and the benefits that are acquired or obtained by the servant. The first is obedience to Allah by sending blessings upon him, peace be upon him. The second is to agree with Allah, may He be exalted, in sending blessings upon him, peace be upon him. The third is to agree with the angels in sending blessings upon him, peace be upon him. The fourth is to receive blessings from Allah, may He be exalted, upon the one who sends blessings upon him, peace be upon him. The fifth is that his ranks are raised. The sixth is that ten sins are written for him. The seventh is that ten sins are erased for him. The eighth is that his supplication is answered. The ninth is that it is a cause for the intercession of the Prophet, peace be upon him. The tenth is that it is a cause for the forgiveness of sins and the covering of faults. The eleventh is that it is a cause for Allah to suffice the servant in what is important to him. The twelfth is that it is a cause for the Prophet, peace be upon him, to love the servant. The thirteenth is that it is a cause for the acceptance of his supplication. The fourteenth is that it is a cause for the fulfillment of his needs. The fifteenth is that it is a cause for the purification of the one who sends blessings and his purity. The sixteenth is that it is a cause for Allah to reveal to the servant his abode before his death. The seventeenth is that it is a cause for his guidance in this world and the hereafter. The eighteenth is that it is a cause for Allah to respond to the one who sends blessings upon him. The nineteenth is that it is a cause for the Prophet, peace be upon him, to remember the one who sends blessings upon him. The twentieth is that it is a cause for the good deeds of the one who sends blessings upon him. The twenty-first is that it is a cause for the one who sends blessings upon him to be saved from the regret of the Day of Resurrection. The twenty-second is that it is a cause for the removal of distress from the one who sends blessings upon him. The twenty-third is that it is a cause for the one who sends blessings upon him to be saved from the punishment of Allah. The twenty-fourth is that it is a cause for the servant to be saved from the punishment of Allah if he sends blessings upon him when he is mentioned, peace be upon him. The twenty-fifth is that it is a cause for the one who sends blessings upon him to be saved from the punishment of Allah, even if he is cursed.
