Through the kindness of Colonel (now Sir Charles) Rolled Smith I was enabled to visit this temple in December, 1886, and it was then in much the same state as when Champollion saw it. In 1887 Colonel Rolled Smith cleared ENTRANCE TO THE TEMl'LE OK THOTHMES II. AND THOTHMES III. AT WAPI HAIFA, FROM THE RIVER, OR EAST END.
