The year 92 seems to be mentioned, but the ninety-second year of the Era of the Martyrs would be A.D. 374, and this sepulchral stele belongs, in my opinion, to a SEPULCHRAL TABLET OF ifisOU, BISHOP OF THE ISLAND OF SAI, WHO DIED AGED EIGHTY-TWO YEARS much later date, probably to some period which lies between the seventh and tenth centuries. But whatever be its date, the importance of the little monument is considerable, for it proves that at some time during the Christian Period of the history of Dar Sukkot the Christians who were in this portion of the Sudin were sufficiently numerous to need the care of a bishop.
