The next court is somewhat longer, and the walls were provided with a decorated cornice, of which portions still remain. On the north wall are sculptured two rows of fine Sudani cattle, and above them a row of geese. On the south wall are more bulls, in groups of two, which are being led along to the sacrifice by the gods Horus, Thoth, and Anubis. Above this row are a number of figures of chickens, and a serpent having on its 392
