Ibrahim ibn Muhammad Shir, contemporary of Mirza Ahmad Khan, son of Rukn al-Dawla, was a student of the master of calligraphy. He learned calligraphy during the reign of Shah Sulaiman (1077 AH) and Shah Sultan Husayn Safawi (1105 AH). He was proficient in the Naskh, Thuluth, and Ta'liq scripts. He was also skilled in calligraphy and was a student of the master of calligraphy, Mirza Ahmad Khan. He died in 1111 AH, and his death is not known.
