The Sultans of the High Gate, may my soul be sacrificed for them. This manuscript, dated 1285 AH, is a history of the Nasir al-Din Shah. It is bound in leather, with a high-quality binding, decorated with gold tooling and inlaid with lapis lazuli. The cover is decorated with a floral motif. The pages are generally gilded and decorated with gold inlay. The first two pages of the text and the margins are decorated with gold inlay. The two pages after the text and margins are decorated with gold inlay. The chapter headings are generally in high gold. Written by Muhammad Husayn Shirazi. Dated 1285 AH. "And I, Al-Abid al-Khayr, Muhammad Husayn Shirazi, in the year 1285 AH." Muhammad Husayn, son of Haj Muhammad Ali Taj, was a scribe for the Sultan. He was a master calligrapher and was commissioned by the Sultan to write this manuscript. He was also a poet and a scholar. He was the chief scribe for the Sultan and in the book he wrote for Muzaffar al-Din Shah, it is stated that his handwriting is equal to that of the great calligrapher Al-Dawla Ali. His handwriting is still beautiful and elegant. His poetry is considered to be among the most beautiful and refined. His date of death is unknown, but he is said to have lived until the year 1285 AH.
