In the year nine hundred and sixty-six, on the weak pillar, Mir Husayn al-Husayni, known as Mir Kalanki al-Bukhari, may God forgive his sins and have mercy on him, in the city of Bukhara.
Husayn Husayni al-Bukhari, famous as Mir Kalanki, is a student of Mir Ali Harawi and is skilled in Nastaliq script. Some consider him a master.
Kalanki, the librarian of Abd al-Rahman al-Thani, Imam of Bukhara (died 1001 AH), and from the servants of the Sultan's librarian, has inscribed it.
The date of its completion is between the years [illegible] and in that period, the scribe held the position of librarian for six months, but his date of death is unknown.
And his Diwan of Hilali, three volumes of red ink, Baghdad.
A Khatai manuscript with a golden border, fully decorated margins, gilded. It has one volume.
The date of completion is stated: "The Diwan attributed to Maulana Hilali is completed by the humble servant."
Mahmud bin Ishaq al-Shahabi, in the year [illegible].
Mahmud bin Ubayd Khan, Ishaq Shahabi Siyavushani, a student of Mir Ali Harawi and one of those who moved from Herat to Bukhara. However, after some time in Bukhara, he moved to Samarkand and from there to Khurasan.
Mahmud was skilled in calligraphy and had knowledge of music, and played the qanun. He remembers his date of death and states that he did not live a long life. However, his inscription on a copy of Nafahat al-Uns indicates that he lived for a long time, around ninety years.
