They would probably learn a few lessons which would well repay the cost of the journey; and would confer a great boon on thousands, who in those far regions are to this day suffering from the force of the " fixed ideas " which these well-intentioned but misguided gentlemen, having once originated on insufficient data, so obstinately maintain.
