They have all the vices and most of the diseases of Europeans, and they, in common with the whole Negro race, must possess an enormous amount of vitality to have survived under the constant drain of the iniquitous slave traffic and the fearful losses from constant war. A great future is before the people of Uganda, and from the physical advantages and central position of that country, it is well fitted to be the centre of light and civilisation to the surrounding nations.
