And Ibn Majaj, from the people of Al-Majaj, asked Al-Shabib bin Jajra, the bravest of the Arabs, "O Abd al-Rahman bin Milaj, do you have the honor of this world and the hereafter?" He replied, "Yes."

He said, "May your mother be bereaved of you! You have spoken a word. How can you be sure of it?"

He said, "When I go out to the Eid prayer, I will be with you."

"Indeed, we are a people who, if we are wronged, we take revenge."

"The best of what is to come, and whoever has something that is dear to him, let him call me, as it was before."

... and he went with him.

When he reached the mountain, he said, "This is what we have been promised by Allah and His Messenger."

... and he said, "This is after the month of Ramadan."

And Ibn Mu'ammar prepared for the Friday prayer on the seventeenth of the month, and he said in the night:

"I prepared for it my companions, and I did not find a single one of them..."

... to his companion.

... and they entered the mosque.

... and he went out to the Eid prayer on Friday, and the people rose to pray.

... and Shabib drew his sword and struck him, and the sword fell on his neck, and he was struck by the sword on his shoulder.

... and he said, "This is not the way."

... and he called out, "O so-and-so."

... and Shabib went with him.

And Abd al-Malik bin Hubayrah led the people in prayer that day.
