1. Affected. Young dura about 16 inches high. No seed grains developed. Contained *035 per cent. HCN.
2. Unaffected. Dura slightly younger than the above. No seed grains developed. Contained *014 per cent. HCY.
The investigation of cyanogenesis in all the fodder plants used in the Sudan and in certain of the leguminosas, is a piece of research a chemist might carry out with advantage.
