The Dinka of the Bahr el Ghazal, who are the most numerous of the Nilotic peoples, are divided into many tribes, of which the most important are the Rek, the Agar, the Twic, the Nuer, the Dinka of the White Nile, and the Dinka of the Blue Nile.
