The author, Ibrahim Arra Nufal, a man of great wisdom and eloquence, was born in the village of Manawiya, in the region of Kordofan. He was known for his deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence and his eloquent sermons. He passed away in the year 1320 AH (1902 AD).
