Allah brings the dead to life, and He revives you with His signs, so that you may reason.

Then your hearts became hardened after that, like stones or even harder. And indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and indeed, there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and indeed, there are some of them that fall down from the fear of Allah. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

Do you then covet that they will believe in you, when a party of them used to hear the word of Allah, then they would distort it after they had understood it, and they knew it?

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe," but when they are alone with one another, they say, "Do you tell them what Allah has revealed to you so that they may argue with you about it before your Lord? Do you not reason?"

Do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare? And among them are unlettered people who do not know the Scripture except by hearsay, and they do not but conjecture. So woe to those who write
