What is the project of the Scholars' Pledge?

The project of the Scholars' Pledge is the first brick and the prelude to the pledge of allegiance to Imam Al-Mahdi, God willing, between the Corner and the Station. This blessed project was founded in the Yemeni city of Aden in the Hijri year 1435, corresponding to 2013 AD. A number of scholars gathered there and established a consultative council. They unanimously appointed Abdullah bin Ahmed as the Emir of the project of the Ansar. The purpose of this project is to prepare and make ready for the pledge of allegiance to Imam Al-Mahdi upon his appearance in the Two Holy Sanctuaries, after the political vacuum resulting from the conflict of the three kings, after the fighting of the black banners coming from the East. We consider Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed to be among the righteous, and a group of scholars, callers, and righteous people pledged allegiance to him for this matter, including Sheikh Hassan Al-Tahami, may God protect him. It is worth noting that Islamic work is largely based on allegiance, and all Islamic groups have allegiance. The Muslim Brotherhood has allegiance, and the group of Da'wah and Tabligh, and the Salafis and Jihadis have allegiance. Allegiances take the place of covenants and pacts.

It is also not the great, supreme allegiance that is only given to the Caliph of the Muslims. In this project, it is an allegiance of arrangement and coordination. Its position has been strengthened and its legitimacy supported by the hadith of the Seven Scholars narrated by Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him.

The allegiance to Al-Mahdi is a minor allegiance, specific to support, and it does not necessitate hearing and obeying from the one who performs it, and it does not conflict with any other allegiance that may be upon his neck.

The formula for pledging allegiance in the project of the Scholars' Pledge to support Al-Mahdi: I, so-and-so, son of so-and-so, pledge allegiance to Sheikh so-and-so, a specific allegiance in the project of the Ansar, in order to work towards the allegiance to Al-Mahdi as much as I can, and God is my witness to what I say.

A simple example: I, Muhammad bin Saleh, pledge allegiance to Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Yaf'i, a specific allegiance in the project of the Ansar, in order to work towards the allegiance to Al-Mahdi as much as I can, and God is my witness to what I say.

For your information, this allegiance is given directly, and if that is not possible, it can be sent via voice message to the supervisors in the groups "The Travelers to Mecca" via WhatsApp and "The Path to Mecca" via Telegram.

And praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
