— 148 — This plant has proved a great improvement on the old units used, and although its economy would be increased by the installation of a more efficient pump, it has nevertheless widened the margin of profit in a very satisfactory manner.

A further economy would be effected by superheating, for with the existing arrangement of steam pipes there occur considerable condensation losses.
