To the honorable Governor, and the esteemed officials, and the soldiers of the English nation, who have supported Islam. And here is a picture from the book of proclamations.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

To the esteemed Governor, and the officials on behalf of our master Muhammad, and his family, with peace. And thereafter, From the servant, in need of God, Muhammad al-Mahdi bin Abd Allah, to all the officers and soldiers of the English nation, especially the notables and chiefs. May God guide them to the path of salvation before death. And may He make them among those who seek refuge in His exalted presence, Amen. For if you persist in your stubbornness and flee from God's power, and He makes you unable to resist Him, you will know that His disobedience is terrible. And there is no choice for you but to obey His commands and avoid His prohibitions and flee to Him. We have indeed proclaimed the call to His protection and to enter the sphere of His generosity and His gifts. So hasten to that and seize your happiness before your time runs out. And surrender, and you will be safe, and surrender your souls, and God will reward you, Amen. And do not fall ill, lest you be among the regretful, like Rashid and Yusuf, sons of Hamad al-Shalali, and Ala al-Din, and Ikri, and Gordon. For if you do not respond to our call, it will only increase your torment. So they tasted the punishment of disgrace in this life, and the punishment of the hereafter is more ignominious. And the happy one is he who takes heed. This is a warning to you. So if you heed it and desire great success and lasting, eternal reward, then respond to our call to God. And hasten to repent before it is too late for you. For the soldiers of God have marched towards you, and you have no power against them. But out of kindness to you, we have delayed this until this message reaches you. And if you refuse to respond, they will not fight you, nor will they harm you, nor will they interfere with anything of your rights, except for the land and the property and the mosques. If you surrender, you will have the safety of God and His Messenger, and the safety of the servant of God. And you will be among our supporters. And our intention is not to enslave you.
