Thus, in one Avay or another, the whole camp is filled with sickness and discontent. I myself had been ill eight days of fever and ague, and Avas lying alone in our tent, sulfering from violent fever, when a, Faki entered and came up to my bed head, accompanied by Melek Mahmud,"who had brought him to cure mo.
