- 83 -and concubines, and with building. He called the sons of the people of the town, the entire town, and with the slaughter of readings for them every day with abundant tables until they were satisfied with it, but it was not good. It became a source of pride, and he left it. On the second Friday of the month, in that year, meaning the year seven and thirty, Ahmed bin Al-Imam Abd al-Rahman bin Ahmed bin Al-Imam Muhammad Kord passed away in the town of Niteih, may God have mercy on him. He was the Imam of the market mosque, then he was succeeded by Al-Imam Ibn Al-Fitiya Muhammad bin Al-Imam Muhammad Baligh, may God prolong his life. He appointed him on Saturday the twentieth of the month of Rajab al-Fard of that year, with the permission of the scholar judge Al-Mukhtar bin Al-Qadi Muhammad. Then Pasha Said dismissed him on Friday the twentieth of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal - the year eight and thirty and one hundred after the thousand. The sedition came from among them, and its fire was ignited, and they made the belt around their bellies, and they fought, and severe fighting occurred between them. They besieged the people of Al-Fasin also in their homes, going neither forward nor back. They even cut off their water and dug a well for them from their side. They wrote in the sedition in this state for about forty days, and they endured it until God reconciled them. Among them was Al-Kahia Baker bin Al-Daf' Mansour in this sedition, and he did nothing that was of any consequence except with Commander Said Al-Zarki. His life went on among them, and that would not be resolved except with his brother Commander Baba Sayed, nor with the dismissed Pasha Sayed in the sedition. Then they made peace and entered the belt, and some of them returned. If they returned him after the sedition, they refused. The result is that they dismissed him on the aforementioned day before, after he remained in power for a year and six months.
Sayed bin Commander Hamad bin Ali bin Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Zarki took over after the dismissal of Commander Sayed bin Mansour in his second reign on Thursday the seventeenth of the month of Rabi' al-Thani, the year five and thirty and one hundred after the thousand. He was the Kahia of Al-Fasin from the day of his appointment, and his uncle Al-Kahia Senfi bin Al-Kahia Osama bin Ali was honored in it.
