Mansur Wāṣim, and the people of Shībī said that the unjust, transgressing governor should be arrested. They took him and brought him in chains. When the news reached him, he fled and hid from their Imam. Then they went to Shībī after seeking help from Ḥayf, and they came out from Thabit and joined them. The captives, in chains, were taken from the Citadel to Shībī al-Kasr. When the news reached him, he fled and entered a village of the Kuffār, Tibr al-Mustī Dawla. He took refuge with them, then they reached Shībī with relief and found nothing there. They stayed there for a few days, then they returned to Thabit and left the captives there. He remained in the country, cast aside from that hour until the time of Kabr. Then 'Abd Allāh ibn Kabr, then 'Abd al-Raḥmān. At that time, he ordered it to be moved from Shībī to Kabr and left it in Kabr for a while, then he moved it to the Citadel, where it remains to this day. Then he was dismissed in the month of Shawwāl, at the end of the aforementioned year. He remained there for four months, and it was said seven months, because his dismissal was only in the month of Ṣafar of the year one hundred and twenty-eight. Know then that he was returned to it a third time on Thursday, the fourteenth of Jumādā al-Akhir, year one hundred and forty-seven. He was dismissed, his brother the Commander al-Ḥasan ibn al-Commander Ḥamd, after he had been in power for a year and five months, and no one was appointed. In the first days of his rule, the Imam appointed Bābā al-Mukhtār ibn al-Qāḍī Muḥammad as judge of Thabit in the presence of a group of Muslims in al-Mashwār on Saturday, the sixteenth of the month.
