It has people, a number of Berbers, and abundant trade. It is prosperous, with many farms and gardens. It produces excellent mules and horses. Cattle and sheep are abundant, as is honey and clarified butter. All its produce is abundant and blessed. The city of Taghert has flowing water and running springs that enter most of their homes. They irrigate their gardens and trees with this water, which is a good custom. In short, it is a pleasant place. From Taghert to the village of A'mar, one stage. It is a small village on a hill. From there to Darat Dārist, one stage. It is a very small village with abundant cultivation and livestock. From there to the city of Māma, two stages. It is a small city with a wall of earth, mostly mud. Around the wall is a moat. It has a sweet water wadi with farms and crops, and many tributaries. From the city of Māma to the village of 'Un Matjeb, one stage. It is a large village with abundant water, and their drinking water comes from 'Anmūn, and their irrigation from Zanta. From there to Ashmir Zabrī, one stage. From Ashmir Zabrī to Fardah Sulṭān, one stage, with a running spring. From there to the village of Qārah in the sandy plain, one stage, with springs of water. It is now in ruins.
