The British policy continued. The Defterdar returned to Khartoum, which was governed by Miralay Ayan Bey, the first governor. And after him, Awad Bey ruled Sudan in the year 1821. Then in the year 1824, Khurshid Pasha, who ordered the construction of Khartoum and other cities with bricks and expanded the conquest in the Abyssinian regions. He made Qallabat a major center for trade and built mosques and primary schools. The people wore simple clothes. In the year 1821, the Qash was opened, and they wore simple clothes. In the year 1823, Al-Awak was established. In the year 1824, the governor decided that each tribe would provide a number of men for military service. He was succeeded in ruling in the year 1826 by Isma'il Pasha, who ruled Sudan. He visited these lands, traveling from Cairo on October 10th of that year, and arrived at Fashoda. He then went to Fazughli, where he stayed for a period of time, and then resided in Khartoum, where he built a palace. He stayed there, overseeing the affairs of these lands and organizing them. He announced the abolition of slavery in 1829. He then returned to Egypt, arriving in Cairo on March 10th of the year 1830. All of Sudan was incorporated into the administration of Sudan, which was divided into several provinces. Ahmad Pasha succeeded Isma'il Pasha, and he was succeeded by 'Uthman Pasha from 1834 to 1838.
His administration was characterized by the establishment of a strong central government. In 1834, he died in Khartoum and was succeeded by Ali Pasha in August 1835. In 1836, under Abbas Pasha I, military commanders were appointed throughout Sudan. In the year 1844, Alif Pasha was appointed governor and was succeeded by Bakri Bey. In 1845, Bakri Bey was appointed governor of Sudan and requested a consul from Abbas Pasha, who succeeded his grandfather. He sent an expedition to study the conditions in Sudan, led by Mr. Murray. This man had great influence over Abbas I. This expedition was the first expedition. In 1854, Abbas Pasha died, and Sa'id Pasha became governor of Sudan. In the year 1857, Pasha visited Sudan. Pasha, who was in charge of the Sudan, traveled from Sudan to Khartoum. He stayed for a period of time, and then Sa'id Pasha himself visited, arriving in Khartoum on the 11th.
