Delegations came one after another to the governor, complaining of his harshness, but their complaints were of no avail.

The governor did not listen to them, and often imprisoned those who complained and released the oppressors. Thus, they despaired of complaining and resigned themselves to their fate until God Almighty willed to save them.

His actions were condemned and he was defeated. This is mentioned in his book, and God guides to the right path.

The governor of Al-Qara was a man of immense cruelty, beyond imagination.
