The sailing boats of Sheir and Wad Ragaat, women and children, were plundered. The people were starving. He took revenge on the Dervishes and their companions, including Sulaiman bin Tuman, who had killed Colonel Stewart. Sulaiman penetrated the ranks of the Ababda and fought until he fell, killed by them. They carried away his head.
