The American College founded at Asyut by the Presbyterians has be¬ come an important training school for young Egypt. Many of its gradu¬ ates go into government service as well as business and professional life.

Boys from all parts and classes of Egypt, Moslems and Christian Copts, come by the hundreds to the American College, most of them paying for their tuition, some in cash and some in work.
