Abd al-Fattah, my brother, was born with his finger in his mouth, and he bequeathed to five poor people, each receiving thirty-six heads of service slaves, noble slaves, and horsemen. They brought their women, some went to Sinnar, and some carried the elephant's head. The digger said, "Go, Bilal al-Shayb." He said, "I have gone." He said, "Bear witness, Taqiya Muhammad Surur." When a long time passed, Bilal al-Shayb began to hire the digger. And the scholar Muhammad al-Sheikh Kashif said, "We have confirmed your life in its entirety, and what has brought you to the path of God is the arrival of his brother, al-Kufi, and al-Haj Abd al-Salam al-Badawi, and the scholar Jamil, and the scholar Muhammad Walad Surur. And from the Danagla, Sheikh Musa Walad Farid, and Sheikh Manur, and Ahmad Tuda, and his support from the Messenger, peace be upon him. And the chain of transmission of Walad al-Qaddal, he took from al-Kufi, and al-Sufi took from Sheikh Hassan. And Sheikh Abd al-Razzaq Abu Qurun visited him. When he left him, he said, 'The Sheikh of the Shrine, may fire consume him.' So he sent to him and asked, 'The fire of this world or the fire of the hereafter?' He said, 'The fire of this world, God Almighty willing.' And it was by the decree of God and His destiny that he was struck by a rifle, and the bullet rebounded upon him, and it was the cause of his death in the year seventy-five after one thousand. And in that year, Kawkab al-Din disappeared. Glory be to Him whose power is unending. May God benefit us by him in this world and the hereafter. Amen.

He had high miracles that attracted hearts, some of which were explicit in wording and some were symbols and signs that only those on the path understood. Sheikh Idris was asked about him, and he said, "Sheikh Hamed is silent and does not speak." He said, "As soon as he is silent, he will die." He took the path from Muhammad al-Mansur, and his story with his Ghayshi wife is famous. He had sons: Hamed, Ibrahim, Sulaiman, and Sheikh Ali. Their homes were full of religion, this world, and the hereafter, and they were doers. He was buried in the mountain, and his tomb is visible.

Hamal Walad Zurouq, along with the scholars Jar and Ti, came from Hadramaut in the land of Yemen. Their situation was unknown, whether they were relatives or people of the land. He was among the righteous servants of God. He lived in al-Sabani, and there was a strong brotherhood between him and al-Bannadar, Sheikh al-Sheikh Idris, in the kuttab. He lived in front of him in the mahalla. They said that after Isha, he would spread his fur rug and pray two rak'ahs, then two more, until he reached it, then he would return. He had four sons: Abd al-Salam, Abd al-Latif, Abd al-Salam Walad Abu Diliq, and Abd al-Latif Walad Haja. Each of the four had a special miracle. Their father, Sheikh Hamed, married his wife, who gave him a chicken whose feathers could not be plucked. He said to her...
