(1) (His existence) His existence, whether it was great or small, God knows best. (2) Imam Abd al-Ghafir ibn Ismail ibn Abd al-Ghafir, his mother was the daughter of Imam al-Qushayri, the author of the Risala. He died in 529 in Nishapur. Ibn Khallikan, part one, page 306.

O God, bless our master Muhammad and his family and companions, and grant them peace. Praise be to God, the Most Exalted, who is free from likeness and association, whose Lordship is testified by the eloquent and the wise, the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, from whose sight and hearing nothing is hidden, His existence (1). And I bear witness that there is no god but God, alone, without partner. And I bear witness that our master Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, may God bless him. Those in the heavens and on earth, a testimony by which the heart ascends and is quenched after thirst. And after the highest gardens of paradise, by the honor of the master of the descendants of Adnan, the king of Sudan has dated them. And mention what is in it of the notable figures, so I sought their questions after seeking guidance from the Sunnah, and after the Imam, even though our ancestors and their ancestors did not establish anything in this regard, for their news is transmitted by many, reaching the level of transmission among them. So I wished to mention what has been transmitted and become famous of those reports, because a transmitted report, according to the Usuliyyun, is one of the certain categories that provides knowledge of certainty, and dispels doubt, conjecture, and delusion. I have consulted a group of hadith scholars, jurists, and historians, as they have written in history and virtues, such as Imam Abd al-Fari (2) in the history of Nishapur.
