Introduction
Shu'ayb bin Salih is a blessed figure, and he is one of the figures mentioned in the books of epics and tribulations that narrate the events of the end of time. It is most likely that he is a righteous man who will emerge during the time of the Mahdi, peace be upon him. This figure will be among the signs of the Mahdi, despite the discrepancy in the narrations regarding its chain of transmission. However, even with its weakness, some hadith scholars can accept it. If a group rejects it, it serves as corroboration among the signs of the Mahdi. If this figure appears with the characteristics mentioned in the narrations, alongside the other temporal, spatial, and physical characteristics of the Mahdi, this would indicate the authenticity of the narrations in terms of their content, or what has been authenticated.
His Name: Shu'ayb bin Salih: He is the strongest and most prominent. Shu'ayb bin Salih bin Shu'ayb. These two names came from the narration: Muhammad bin Al-Hanafiyyah said: "A black banner will emerge for the Abbasids, then another black banner will emerge from Khurasan. Their clothes are black, and their garments are white. At their forefront is a man called: Shu'ayb bin Salih bin Shu'ayb..." (Al-Fitan by Nu'aym bin Hammad). And as it came in more than one narration, his name is only Shu'ayb bin Salih. Some of them come as follows: Regarding variations in his name: Perhaps this Shu'ayb's name is Shu'ayb bin so-and-so bin Salih, or there might be two names between the name Shu'ayb and the name Salih. All of this does not contradict the narrations, as it is the son of the son of the son, and so on, if they knew. I say this because the figure appears at the time of the Mahdi, and as is the story of the Mahdi, he is pursued by tyrannical rulers. So, perhaps Allah will make this a concealment of Shu'ayb's identity by placing one or more names between the two names. And Allah knows best.

The Narrations and Reports Regarding This: From 'Amm, he said: "Black banners will emerge fighting Al-Sufyani. Among them is a young man from Banu Hashim, with a mole on his left shoulder, and at his forefront is a man from Banu Tamim called: Shu'ayb bin Salih, and he will defeat his companions." (Al-Fitan by Nu'aym bin Hammad). And from Al-Hasan, he said: "A man of medium height, dark-skinned, a freedman of Banu Tamim, with a curly beard, called: Shu'ayb bin Salih, will emerge in Rayy..." (Al-Fitan by Nu'aym bin Hammad).
