"Al-Huraf," a dry region in southern Syria and northern Jordan. In Hebrew, "Al-Huraf" also means "dry valley" or "dry land."
The application of the "dry valley" or "Al-Huraf" region to the Jordanian-Syrian border is of great importance, as current geographical borders distinguish countries from each other and are not like in ancient times. Therefore, exiting and establishing oneself from this is only possible within the defined geographical borders. Currently, and since the "Al-Huraf" region is considered a border region, if Syria is subjected to any attack from the Jordanian side, it is likely to be from this region - Al-Huraf. If this happens, we see a complete match with the exit of Sufyani from the dry valley.
And if we look at the events of the era of appearance, we will notice that Sufyani, after occupying Damascus, will march his forces towards northern Syria and southern Jordan. After confronting the forces of "Al-As'hab" and "Al-Abqa'," and then confronting the forces of "Jordan in Qarqisiya," he will change his direction towards southeastern Iraq.
After leaving Iraq, Sufyani will decide to march to attack Hijaz and Khurasan, where he will be defeated by the forces of Sayyid Al-Khurasani and Imam Mahdi. The successive defeats of Sufyani's armies will continue until the time of Sufyani's killing.
So now, looking at the path drawn above and mentioned in the narrations related to the march of Sufyani's armies in the end times, assuming that Sufyani will emerge from Syria and attack Jordan, despite the fact that the path of attack will be from the "dry valley," the route taken will be from southern Syria to northern Jordan, and then to southern Jordan, which contradicts the route described in the narrations. However, if Syria is attacked from the direction of Jordan, the attack will also be from the "dry valley" region. But here we see that the route taken by the Jordanian forces is consistent with the map of the march of Sufyani's forces in the narrations. Therefore, if the Jordanian forces, led by King Abdullah, want to march towards Syria, they must pass through the "Al-Huraf" region, and this region, as we have seen, corresponds to the "dry valley." If the Jordanian forces move to the Syrian side, this will be consistent with what is described in the narrations about the emergence of Sufyani. Of course, these events have not happened yet, but if they do, they will be consistent with the narrations.
