A Note Conclusion Finally, this is Imam Al-Mahdi, a descendant of the pure progeny, the savior of the nation today, from tribulations and enmity, the unifier of hearts, the gatherer of brothers, the unifier of ranks, and the raiser of the banner of monotheism. He is the seal of the saints, just as his grandfather was the seal of the prophets. From Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, is Al-Mahdi from us, the family of Muhammad, or from others? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No, but from us. Through us, Allah will seal the religion, just as it was opened through us. Through us, they will be saved from tribulations, just as they were saved from polytheism. Through us, Allah will unite their hearts after the enmity of tribulation, making them brothers, just as He united them after the enmity of polytheism. Through us, they will become brothers after the enmity of tribulation, just as they became brothers after the enmity of polytheism in their religion. Yes, he is Al-Mahdi, upon whom be the peace of Allah on the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is resurrected alive. May the mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you, O people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy, Glorious. And from Abu Al-Tufayl, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I am leaving among you two weighty things, one of which is greater than the other: the Book of Allah and my progeny, my household. So, look how you will succeed me in them. They will never separate until they return to me at the Al-Hawd. And from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I have left among you two things, you will not go astray after them if you hold on to them. - 73 -
