Announcement 14. The meeting of the ten captains with the Mahdi in Dhu Tuwa (Al-Utaybiyyah Al-Zahir) on the day after the owner of Jarwal promised the Mahdi to them.

15. Their coercion of the Mahdi to pledge allegiance, and the Mahdi's promise to them to march out on the following night.

16. Their presence between the Rukn and the Maqam to pledge allegiance to him.

17. 313 men, including women, pledge allegiance to him, and several of the people of Badr pledge allegiance to him. They have no number, no strength, and no defense. He does not wake the sleeping, nor spill blood.

18. The Mahdi's delivery of a sermon in the Haram.

19. The broadcast of satellite channels about his pledge of allegiance, so people hear it from the east and west of the earth and are frightened by that sound.

20. Some of his companions come to him from the east and west of the earth in the middle of the night, flying in the clouds, known by their names, their fathers' names, and their titles (i.e., by airplanes, passports, and tickets).

21. His disappearance with his companions in the mountains of Taif.

22. The people's celebration of him, and their wedding procession to him as a bride is celebrated on her wedding day, and their pursuit of him like arriving birds and thirsty camels.

23. People flock to him, so he marches out with an army consisting of three banners. The modest say twelve thousand, and the more say fifteen thousand. Their mark is "Ummah, Ummah."

24. He conquers Hijaz, and the people of Yemen are pleased with him and accept his pledge of allegiance. (The tribes of Hamdan, Khawlan, and Himyar come to him.)

25. An army is sent from the direction of Sham. The Mahdi fights them, plunders Medina for three days, destroys it, and then marches out in pursuit of the Mahdi.

26. The army is swallowed by the earth in the Bada' (the Bada' of Medina, which is a desert near Dhu al-Hulayfah, Abiār Ali).

27. The Ummah unites around the Mahdi, and he is joined by (the groups of the people of Iraq, the substitutes of the people of Sham, the select of the people of Egypt).
